IAVA is a nonprofit organization committed to facilitate different events to cater for the individual & professional development of the members of Indian community from Metro Richmond & Tri-cities area in Virginia. The different cultural, social, humanitarian, educational & sports activities throughout the year provide all, with the opportunity to enable diverse individualities to share a strong bond rooted in common heritage. Every year a new committee is formed through fair elections.
